Rhum Vieux 13 Year Old Batch 3 Salvador - La Maison du Rhum

La Maison Du Rhum Salvador Maja batch # 3 2011 comes from a small country in Central America that is bordered by the Pacific Ocean. It is a molasses rum that is the result of a complex blending process developed by Don Pancho Fernandez, the famous Cuban maestro Ronero. The distillery has 4 columns, from which rums between 78 and 98% alcohol flow. They are reduced between 55 and 75% before being put into barrels. This edition was distilled in 2011 and placed in new American oak barrels for more than 8 years. Finally, it received a 3-month finish in fino casks, a variety of dry sherry. Bottling took place in 2020, for a total of 2743 bottles.
