Glen Garioch is a cosy malt whisky distillery located in the Eastern Highlands of Scotland. The small village of Oldmeldrum is home to just over 3000 inhabitants as well as the aforementioned malt distillery and there is also the Kirkton of Bourtie stone circle nearby. And it is precisely from this distillery that the following 10-year matured spirit was released as a small batch bottling. Anthony McCallum, the Scottish bottler, is responsible for this fine product with two maturation variants. After the extended basic maturation, it was stored in French oak in pre-aged Pomerol.
