Bowmore 27 Years Single Malt is the third and final release from the Vintner's Trilogy. The whisky has first matured for 13 years in bourbon casks before moving to specially selected Portuguese port casks for 14 years. The whisky is then bottled at cask strength. In this Bowmore, hints of dried fruit, light toffee and caramel come to the fore. Alongside the influences of the Port casks, the distinctive fruity and smoky flavours of Bowmore can also be found in this special whisky.
